Tumo, which literally means "dirt fried bun" in English, is a local snack popular in Henan Province. Villagers in Jiyuan, Henan, gathered together and dried the buns on October 25 in an ancient street at the foot of Wangwu Mountain, creating an amazing bun-making scene stretching hundreds of meters in length.
The small buns are roasted in fine-grain soil. When done, they're simply scooped up, given a few taps to dust off the soil and eaten warm. The snack has been sold across the country.
